About Us

I started Sussex Ski Special many years ago as a way of providing ski and snowboarding holidays for my family and friends, combining my enthusiasm for sliding down mountains, only discovered at the mature age of 28 with operating a coach as part of my musical career playing, managing and therefore transporting a big band around the uk and europe! In recent years it has become more than just a couple of trips each season and now incorporates the family who have become great skiers themselves through the start they got on "sussex ski specials" from very early ages. We have organised between 2 and 7 ski holidays each season for friends, family and clients.  

Our aim has always been to offer good value for money group skiing, in a fun and relaxed environment, providing  a framework of informal guidance on the slopes with quite a number of our team qualified as instructors at various levels with the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance. In recent times our interest has developed into off piste terrains without ever forgetting to spend time with those facing challenges on all the various grades of slopes our chosen resorts offer.

This unique background does not suit everyone of course, but if you are after incredible value on an inclusive 8 days on the slopes holiday, with good food and guidance included, you are our kind of people! If you wish to make a contribution to the smooth running of our chalets we will always be happy to accept your help - its one of the ways that makes us a little different from a more typical hotel or catered chalet vacation. Most people who join us come back again - sometimes several times a season!
