Payment
What is the cost of the deposit?
£150 per person
Is my deposit refundable?
The deposit, is not refundable, BUT CAN BE EXCHANGED FOR ANOTHER TRIP.
Who do I make my Cheque Payable to?
Please Make Cheques payable to Sussex Ski Special
Can I pay by credit card?
We accept payment by debit/credit card online via paypal.
Can I pay by cash?
We will accept payment by cash please visit us with your deposit.
When do you require the remaining balance for my holiday?
approx 4-6 weeks before departure.
Journey
What time do you leave on the Friday?
All trips normally depart from Chiddingly late afternoon on Friday for Sea France ferry crossing. This is not always the case and you will receive the details in your final letter.
Who drives the coach?
We have a team of professionally qualified drivers who are all keen Skiers.
Can we make our own travel arrangements?
Yes - you may even get a reduction to help finance it. But you will almost certainly reduce your skiing time in the resort.
How long is the Ferry crossing?
Scheduled sailing time is 90 minutes Dover to Calais.
What time do we catch the ferry on departure?
You will be informed of the departure time on your final letter.
How long is the journey?
Approx 12 hours by coach from Calais dependant on resort.
Do I have to pay for my meals on the Journey?
Yes we do not pay for your dinner or breakfast on both the journey there or back. We do however find value for money places to eat for both departure and return journeys so will not cost you to much extra.
When do we eat on the journey to France?
We encourage people to eat dinner on the ferry to France. We do however stop at regular intervals on the journey.
What time do we arrive in the resort?
We arrive in time for breakfast on the Saturday morning. This would normally be continental breakfast in local resort cafe.
When do we arrive back home?
All our trips arrive back to Chiddingly at approx. 12pm on Sunday afternoon. Sometimes earlier.
What time do we leave at the end of the holiday?
On the day of departure, we leave at the end of the skiing day around 6pm. We then drive for a couple of hours and stop for dinner.
Equipment
Will I be able to hire ski equipment?
Yes every resort has its own ski hire shop. We negotiate the best discount we can from the local hire shop. You may prefer to hire equipment in the UK but we strongly discourage this as you wont be able to take hire equipment back if you find it doesn’t fit while skiing!
Accommodation
What are the accommodation arrangements? Are there single supplements?
Dependant on resort we offer single supplement but we usually expect singles to share with a suitable room mate.
Who makes my bed?
You do! We don't supply a chalet slave we hope for your help - but we usually find willing assistants with table laying dishwasher loading and other menial help for the chef !!!!!!
Food
Do you cater for vegetarians?
Yes we will provide an alternative. Please specify if you require vegetarian meals.
Other
Is car parking available departing from Sussex?
Yes car parking is available no charge for this

All our trips depart in our coach from our address Chiddingly in East Sussex.
